What is a Steam Room Good For?
12th August 2022How does a Salt Room Work?
12th August 2022Are you new to the spa? Spas are a great way to relax and unwind after the stresses that everyday life can bring. But if you’ve never been before, it can be a bit nerve-wracking.
You may be wondering what to wear, what to bring or even how to act.
But, it’s important to understand that other people at the spa and the staff are not judging you. We want to ensure you enjoy your visit and are deeply relaxed. Below we will explain what you should wear and what you should bring to Unique Day Spa here in Dublin, so you’re completely prepared and comfortable during your visit.
What Clothes Should I Wear to a Spa?
At most spas, and at Unique Day Spa, you’re likely to spend most of your time in a robe. However, you may be finding it difficult to choose an outfit to arrive in. Your main concern when choosing, should always be comfort.
Below are some items of clothing you should consider for your arrival outfit.
- Leggings / yoga pants
- T-shirts / vest tops
- Jogging bottoms
- Trainers
- Sandals / Sliders
- Hoodies
If you’re unsure before arrival, contact our team with any specific questions and we’ll be happy to help.
What to Bring with Me?
Swimwear
Due to the nature of our spa, rooms and treatments, it’s important to remember to bring a swimming costume or bikini. This will allow you to comfortably enjoy all our facilities and treatments without having to change or feel uncomfortable during your booking.
After Outfit
Once it’s time to depart you will most likely want to change into dry, clean and fresh clothing. Obviously your outfit is your choice, but we would recommend choosing comfort over style, to prolong the relaxed sensation, unless you’re planning to head out straight after your time at Unique Day Spa.
Do I Take My Own Robe?
At Unique Day Spa we offer complimentary robes and slippers to our guests.
If you have specific requirements for robes or are worried about the size, chat to our team and we’ll provide you with discreet and respectful assistance throughout.
You may also be wondering what to wear under your robe, but this depends on the treatment your planning on having. Generally, you should wear swimwear or underwear under your robe. Check the requirements of the treatments you’ve booked.
Other items to bring:
- Book or magazine to enjoy while you relax
- Earphones for music/podcasts
